The Flying Start programme is to ensure that all Flying Start eligible children resident within the specific postcode areas of Welshpool, Newtown, Ystradgynlais, Brecon and Llandrindod Wells, have access to free, high quality childcare for up to 2.5 hours per day, for a maximum of 12.5 hours per week. Children will start childcare from the term after their second birthday until the term after their third birthday. Flying Start eligible children and their families, will feel involved, informed, supported and empowered and each child will achieve tangible outcomes of: - Language Development - Cognitive Development - Social & Emotional Development - Physical Health - Reduced poverty - Early Identification of high needs Service providers may bid for one lot.
