The Council wishes to understand the potential level of interest within the private sector to provide these services in Brent. It would also like to engage specifically on the procurement options it is considering for the contract, the intended contract scope, and how service providers might operate alongside the Council’s Client Operations, Representations and Appeals and Highways services that would deliver a proportion of related functions (e.g. Traffic orders, lines/signs maintenance, safe school streets, low traffic neighbourhoods and CPZs). This engagement intends to raise awareness of the Council’s requirements for the Service and to help inform the development of its procurement strategy, whilst also providing an opportunity for service providers to contribute to the design of future service delivery. We would welcome expressions of interest from service providers interested in meeting with the Council on Tuesday 16 November 2021 for a soft market engagement session (format of the session to be confirmed).
