The work of the Council’s Planning Policy Team and the HELAA panel will consider the traditional planning issues associated with the 3 new communities that have been put forward such as their landscape impact, loss of agricultural land, impact on heritage assets, ecology etc. The Council is looking to commission a multi-disciplinary team to help set an ambitious vision for such proposals and to ingrain high quality place making outcomes from the outset of the process.
