    In line with the NHS Long Term Plan and the NHS People Plan, the NHS aims to develop and roll out digital staff passports to enable staff movements, increasing safeguards for patients and reducing the burden on staff. The Covid-19 Digital Staff Passport has proven to be and continues to be an effective interim solution aiding essential, temporary staff movements during the pandemic and the aim of this procurement is to develop and deliver a long-term digital staff passport service for all staff movements. The immediate requirement focuses on the needs of two user cases: the rotational movements of Doctors in Training and the temporary staff movements of any NHS staff member. Additional information: The core requirement is for NHS organisations to be able to securely issue and verify multiple verifiable credentials to enable the following user groups to move seamlessly between NHS organisations:<br/>• Permanent staff movements – starting with Doctors in Training<br/>• Temporary staff movements – where any NHS staff member moves temporarily to another NHS organisation.
