What is being bought
Staffordshire County Council (SCC) are recommissioning Day Opportunities (also known as Day Care Services) for both Older People (aged 65+) and for People with Physical Disabilities. SCC invites all providers and prospective providers to participate in the following online Provider Workshops as part of its Soft Market Testing to review the existing arrangements and to look at how Day Opportunities for Older People and People with Physical Disabilities will be commissioned going forward: 12/06/2024 13:30-15:30 - What Good Day Care looks like (Quality) 13/06/2024 13:30 - 15:30 - Contract Model and Finances 20/06/2024 14:00 - 16:00 - Transport 26/06/2024 13:30 - 15:30 - The Tender Process. (Support will be available within this session for the Third Party Information Security Questionnaire) Your input as Day Opportunity Providers is essential. Your expertise and experience of delivering services will support us to develop a service specification, delivery mechanism and contract monitoring/quality assurance process that is effective, meaningful and puts people at the centre of all we do. Following each session, a Soft Market Testing Questionnaire will be available on the Proactis procurement portal along with a Q&A document from the sessions. To register for these sessions, please email oppdcommissioning@staffordshire.gov.uk and the relevant Microsoft Teams invite will be sent to you. In readiness for when the Soft Market Testing Questionnaires are published, Suppliers are urged to register on our E tendering Proactis system https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login and express an interest in the opportunity, using the contract reference number IA2938 for this procurement process. Responses for all Soft Market Testing Questionnaire's will need to be submitted before 01/07/2024.
