The Agreement is intended to provide a bodywork repair service for vehicles situated across the County of Dorset. The Framework contractor(s) will be required to carry out bodywork repairs to the Council’s mixed badge, vehicle fleet and vehicles belonging to a third party damaged by Dorset Council during their business. The major content of work for this Framework will be made up of the following: • Body Repairs • Paint Repairs • Collection and Delivery (Third Party Vehicles) • Recovery To reduce unnecessary travelling, and to help control costs to the Council and contractor(s), the Council will require a repair network that can strategically cover the whole area of Dorset and offer a flexible service to their officers. To achieve this operational flexibility the Council will be offering this Framework to more than one contractor to ensure that services located in the west and east of the County have access to a nearby body repair service.
