The existing system also interfaces with other remote V&A sites. The small amount of equipment installed in these locations will also need to be interconnected via the organisation's data network. The Access Control System upgrade project will primarily involve the replacement of the software application, door controllers and input/output controllers. All ancillary equipment, including power supplies, are to be retained.
