Coverage: 298 active published awards; 275 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

- Lot 1 · #1Individual lot title not publishedplannedPublished valueNot publishedThe Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) are redeveloping the current Embassy site in Mogadishu, Somalia. The site is within the Aden Adde International Airport compound. The FCO (as was) built the Embassy compound in 2013. It required a fast solution for ‘expeditionary diplomacy’ in Somalia, which resulted in the highly containerised solution, designed for a temporary 5-year life. Now beyond its design life and despite ongoing maintenance, there are significant parts of the compound that now require complete replacement. Buildings and services are largely at the end of their useful life, substantially due to the Embassy’s humidity and coastal location, where high salt content encourages rapid corrosion. There is also a need to provide accommodation more suited to current operations. The project will consist of: • New single accommodation units, • New welfare and recreational facilities, • New guard house, sangers and security compound walls, • Replacement of central plant to facilitate maintenance and future flexibility, • Extended design life of 15 years The FCDO are looking for a collaborative and open professional partner with experience of working in hostile environments. The Contractor will have full use of the site and existing buildings. All FCDO staff will be relocated for the duration of the project. The Contractor will also take possession of all services. Phasing of the works will be at the Contractors discretion and the use of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) / Innovation is to be encouraged to find a workable solution given the environment, conditions and programme constraints.Contract periodNot publishedEligibilityNot publishedOptions / renewalNot published
