This was following the handback of contracts by the providers. The formal procurement process was unsuccessful, leading BNSSG CCG to establish that a direct award with the incumbent provider, Pier Health Group Limited, is necessary to ensure the continuation of vital primary care services to the relevant population. The CCG is now awarding services to the aforementioned provider under an APMS contract that will run from 01/06/2021 to 31/05/2025. In line with agreement reached at the CCG's Primary Care Commissioning Committee, this is a period sufficient in length to stabilise the services and to establish long-term arrangements. The award value is £2,782,223 (Est) + Additional Role Reimbursement Scheme revenue. Pier Health Group benefits from strong existing relationships, knowledge and experience.
