What is being bought
Aberdeenshire Council are looking to potentially procure a service which will enhance the clinical and care management aspects of the alcohol and drug service provided by the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP). The provision of this service would allow people access to the most appropriate service at the most appropriate time. It would support the delivery of new expectations and targets received from Scottish Government.
There are two areas required to be provided through this potential procurement:
1. Support at Access Points to keywork clients who do not require the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnerships Alcohol and Drug service and are not at high risk of harm.
2. Support delivery of the Stepped Care model for those people assessed as suitable for non medical prescribing and that no longer require an input from the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnerships Alcohol and Drug service
The service will be available in North, Central and South Aberdeenshire.
The total contract value (initial contract period) will be GBP 1,500,000.00. The total contract value (including optional extensions) will be GBP 2,500,000.00. The annual contract value will be GBP 500,000.00.
