The opportunity was open to all competent contractors with demonstrable experience in building remediation and fire safety. Bidders were able to apply for one or more workstreams, via CPV codes, UK regions, and contract value bands, reflecting their organisational capability, experience, and capacity. This ensured equitable access for organisations of all sizes.\nProcurePublic encouraged submissions from SMEs, regional contractors, specialist providers, and established tier 1 contractors. Applicants were permitted to select the project size/value band for which they wished to be considered, supporting proportionality and fairness in line with best procurement practice.\nThe Buildings Remediation Framework covers a comprehensive range of remediation, safety, and structural works. The scope includes, but is not limited to:\nA. Fire Safety and Prevention Works\nRemoval and replacement of unsafe cladding systems\nFire stopping and compartmentation\nInstallation of compliant fire doors and associated joinery\nFire detection, alarm systems, and suppression systems\nB. Structural Remediation\nConcrete and steel frame repairs\nStructural strengthening and stabilisation\nFoundation and ground improvement works\nC. Envelope and External Works\nFaçade repairs and replacement\nRoof repairs, renewal, and balcony refurbishment\nWindow and door replacement programmes\nD. Internal Building Safety Works\nLift upgrades and refurbishment\nVentilation and smoke extraction system improvements\nMechanical & Electrical systems upgrades required for regulatory compliance\nE.
